Learn to grow pea and sunflower microgreens at home — no garden, no experience, no fuss. In just 10 days, a small countertop tray becomes a fresh, nutrient-packed harvest you can add to any meal.
In this workshop you'll plant your own take-home growing kit, get a step-by-step walkthrough of the whole process, and tour the Guelph Enabling Garden's food growing areas — including the u-pick beds, available to anyone in the community.
You'll go home with everything you need to keep growing.
The Grow-at-Home Kits are part of the Guelph Tool Library’s broader Seniors Food Security Program, which also includes gardening activities at the GROW Community Garden, food preparation programs with seniors, and educational sessions focused on food security.
